A group of researchers has published results of its investigations of cryptocurrency capitalization. They claim that Bitcoin market will plummet significantly and rapidly by the end of 2018, which will be followed by a huge financial drop of over $44 billion. At the moment BTC gross value is considered $121 billion, but financial organizations of Switzerland, including Management and Technology Department and Finance Institute of Geneva University, predict that about 35% of those funds will come down because of numerous crashes and bubbles on the global financial market.

Scientists apply Metcalfe’s law in connection with cryptocurrencies researches, and according to the investigations results less people are Bitcoin owners. If the quantity of cryptocurrency owners keeps on decreasing, some serious problems are awaiting the financial market.
